Audioguides

I really enjoy voicing audioguides for English-speaking tourists allover the world, and as someone who likes to travel, I find them particularly interesting.

I have a warm, relatable and professional style, which allows me to make complex topics more understandable and less intimidating, whilst simultaneously connecting with my audience and making them feel at ease.

Living in Spain and constantly mingling with people from different countries means I’m skilled at pronouncing foreign names or terms - particularly those in Spanish, Italian, French and German, which adds an authentic touch to my work.

I have recorded audioguides for museums, art galleries, historic sites and city tours in the UK, France, Italy, Germany and Spain, including the Colosseum in Rome, the Museo del Prado in Madrid and The National Gallery in London.

For my full list of audio tours see the ‘Voice Over’ section of my Spotlight CV.

Characters

Working as an audiobook narrator means I’m constantly creating new character voices.

I recently voiced the character of Serena, a Roman Empress, in Sheldon Collins’ full-cast production of ‘The Legend of Valentine’.

Narration work also means I’m constantly learning and practising accents. The accents I’m most often asked to do are West Country, Yorkshire, General American, Scottish and Cockney.

In my character reel you will hear some examples!

For my full list of accents see the ‘Skills’ section of my Spotlight CV.

Documentaries

In this playlist you will also find my documentary/narration reel, which showcases my versatility in a variety of different genres.

“It was an absolute pleasure to work with and direct Kitty on The Legend of Valentine. She brought Serena to life with a perfect blend of humanity, passion and energy, creating a performance that I believe will captivate audiobook listeners for years to come! She absolutely nailed it - and made all the creative choices that I always hoped a voice actor would make playing Serena! She completely got the character, which was such a thrill for me to hear.”
